Some time back I had posted that I got a great car audio setup. Was enjoying my new stuff and pretty much anybody who has seen the setup said that it has the best acoustic effect. What is neat is that I had the speaker setup in all the right places.
This allows anyone in the car to hear the sound at the same intensity at all the locations. What this also means is that while deriving there are very less chances of me being distracted or not being able to listen outside sounds.
So I had a few additions made compared to my last setup. If you will remember my last post, I did not focus on the bass component so much as I went for the Sony touch screen media center.
So I got a good bonus this time and thought why not complete the setup. I was lucky enough to come across a 70% off clearance sale at Thompsons car audio. So I went ahead and added the Bass Face Active Subwoofer. This time I did not have the kids around so I just went with what I saw. As usual they were kind enough to show me a demo. I had researched a bit and learnt if the bass is not natural then it can drown out effects of the speakers. So after consulting with them, I took the demo in my car and as per their suggestion I had the speaker arrangement changed.
The sub-woofer cost me £114 and £12 to change the speaker arrangements. The subwoofer works great, I already had a great speaker setup and now with the new speaker arrangement the sound has improved exponentially. I was not aware that it could improve so much.
